Health insurance coverage is available for Acupuncture and Massage Therapy! Many companies offer this extended health insurance to their valuable employees. You will have to pay for your treatment at the time of your session, we will then email you your receipt. You will need to either mail or email our receipt to your insurance company in order to get reimbursed…It’s that simple!
If you wish to learn more about the details of your coverage, you should contact your Human Resource department to discuss futher. Alternatively, you can contact your Health Insurance provider directly and ask a few important questions:
- Do I need a referral from my doctor before starting?
- What is the yearly limit on coverage for massage therapy and or for acupuncture?
- Is there a per session price limit or what are the limitations under my plan?
- What isn’t covered under my plan for Acupuncture and Massage Therapy?
- What is the procedure for getting reimbursed?

Dr Amanda Diep is a member of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Additionally, all of our Massage Therapists meet the 2200 hr minimum insurance requirements.
Below is a short list of insurance companies offering Health Insurance coverage for employees. Be sure to check with your Human Resource department to determine the exact amount you are covered for. Additionally, some companies combine both Acupuncture and Massage (ie. $1000 for both) where as others provide an separate amount for each individual ($500 for Acupuncture, $800 Massage)…You will need to verify with your HR department.
