EXIGE MEDI SPA is taking additional measures in light of the COVID-19 virus.

The well-being of our clients, patients and community is of the upmost importance to us. We are not taking this situation lightly and are actively monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 a.ka. coronavirus as it develops.

We are monitoring the news and updates from the Public Health Agency of Canada (including provincial authorities). PHAC states Canada remains a safe destination and the risk of contagion to the country remains low.

However, in the interest of public health and the safety of everyone, we are undertaking the following additional safety measures; 

1) Preventive Measures

Since the prevention of the spread mainly involves the adoption of proper sanitary measures. Our usual high standards regarding sanitation and hygiene of our establishment are diligently being applied and observed. We are also taking extra cleaning, sterilizing, and disinfecting precautions (effective immediately).

We use hospital grade quality products and level 3 masks. The same quality and products you see at your dentist office and hospitals. We have provided some in the waiting area for you to take home too.

2) UV Light Sanitizer

We also sterilize all massage tables with UV light sanitizers (yes, the kind hospitals use). UV light can reduce hospital-acquired infections. A new study shows that ultraviolet disinfection technology eliminates up to 97.7 percent of pathogens in the operating room. Using this light wavelength can help defeat superbugs.

3) Sterilization After Every Treament

Our cleaning and disinfecting protocols are visited and followed through after each and every appointment. This includes disinfecting all hard surface areas, door knobs, pens, tablets, etc.

4) 5hr Cancellation Policy

In effect is our flexible cancellation policy. Which is particularly reassuring in this period of uncertainty. Until further notice, the 24 hour cancellation policy is suspended. You are now able to cancel a reservation up to 5 hours before your appointment time.

5) Extra 10 mins Massage

Furthermore,  we are also adding an additional 10mins to your appointment (when possible). This time will be used to  help boost your immune system and encourage lymphatic drainage,  at no additional cost.

6) Travelled Abroad?

If you have travelled in the last 14 days and have developed a cough, fever and/or experiencing difficulty breathing. Or have you been in contact with someone who has travelled outside of Canada? Please do reach out and let us know. We will arrange to reschedule your appointment(s) for a later date.
